I designed this skyscraper as a part of the proposed Kings Cross development in London while working for Norman Foster.
The idea was to emphasize the horizontal floor plates, much like Mies van der Rohe’s famous model, shown on the right.
The developer, Sir Stuart Lipton still has the drawing I did, behind his desk, 25 years later.
