As an advisor, I specialize in creative strategy and product design from initial ideas through to design and implementation. Most of these products are consumer web businesses and applications, but my background in the design of physical things mean this often extends to hardware. Having founded several companies, I treat the process of developing a business model or plan as a design challenge to create the most elegant and efficient solution to a problem.

Splitting my time between Europe and the US, I currently advise a number of startups and mature companies such as Architizer in New York and Samba Mobile in London. I’m a Venture partner at Siderian Ventures in San Francisco, who specialize in clean tech.

Working with a team in Geneva I can look at a business idea, see how web technologies might help and take it through to whatever stage is required, from concept to specification and actual product development. Fees consist of a combination of cash and equity, depending on the size of the company.
